My days are still spent on the CPM machine - 8 hours a day (in 2 hour blocks). It is my reality for now and I am embracing it!
By the time Friday rolled around, I was so happy!
Jerold and I found time to watch a movie together...
He was hesitant at first to watch it, but we both ended up loving it!!
Saturday was a whole lot of spring cleaning - that is... me purging clothes from drawers while lying on my side or balancing on my crutches - no easy feat! I did not get a picture :(
I also got to talk on the phone to my wonderful friend Jen from Oregon - a super amazing runner and she was kind enough to let me interview her! Two hours of talking to my girlfriend about running = a slice of heaven!
The post will be out on Tuesday and you definitely won't want to miss it!

Meanwhile, Josh and Megan had a bit of a squabble and we had the joys of parenting...
A little pep talk and a Bible verse always helps the situation!
Church on Sunday for everyone, while I stayed home to get more time on the machine.
Between the machine, icing 4-5 times a day and my PT exercises, rehab is a full time job! I'll be sure and share my PT exercises soon!
I found out Jen, an awesome runner and fellow blogger, (have you read her blog? umm, yeah - you definitely need to!!) was going to be in LA and I was so excited! I love hearing when people come to LA. I get so psyched and start babbling (and babbling) about stuff to do, places I love to run, ect.
She was so kind and sent out this tweet (She didn't have to, but so incredibly thoughtful - Thank you Jen!)...
The kiddos have been dying to go to the beach (we can only go on weekends for now since I am not able to drive) and we finally made it on Sunday!
They started on the swings...
SBG had just woken up from her nap and was not happy about waiting her turn for a swing!
....And this proves I have wild kiddos...
And what do you think happened next?!
We decided to eat at the beach and I had such a yummy salad!
It was windy and cold today (okay, it wasn't COLD, but chilly!) but I love the time of day just before sunset...
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!
How many miles did you run this weekend?
Did anyone race this weekend?
Best thing you ate?
I would say, the kale salad (above pic) and a delicious polenta dish I had on Sunday!
Happiness Is Running Life!
xo,
Natalie
