How was your Monday?
I have been walking a lot these last few days...
Just keeping it moving and so thankful that my knee is feeling good enough to get the job done.
Three days till surgery and I am so, so excited!! I can't wait to start running again in July!
We made another trip to Disneyland on Sunday...our last trip for a while as our annual pass is expiring :( It was such a fun year with all the trips to the happiest place on earth! It really worked well for us as we didn't feel like we had to spend all day there (impossible with little ones) and each time we did something different.
SBG loves the teacups!
Also, it's so nice that they have healthy options at Disneyland...
I went on line to order the Brooks Launch 2 Lobster (Boston) running shoes!
They were SOLD OUT everywhere and after a frantic search I was able to order them from Lady Footlocker. They are back ordered and I will receive them in a couple of weeks! YAY!! I don't think I have ever been so excited about a pair of running shoes!
The Boston Marathon is next Monday!! I am so excited to watch every moment and I definitely go through moments of sadness that I can't run it. And then I snap out of it and know that next year will be here before I know it and I can't wait!!
To further immerse myself in all things Boston, I read a great article today about Shalane Flanagan and some pretty wonderful running moments in her life.
In other news, today the big kiddos went back to school and we are getting back to our routine (only two more months and summer will be here - crazy!!).
It was a long day and I wanted something soothing and delicious to drink when the house was quiet...
I made an Almond Hot Toddy (without alcohol). It was so tasty and the perfect way to end a busy day. I'd love to share it with you!
